10”x10”X1.5” Abstract painting, acrylic and mixed-media on stretched canvas.
This is #5 painting from a 9-piece series of miniatures. Each painting sold separately.
This is #1 painting from a 9-piece series of miniatures. Each painting sold separately.
I begin all my paintings with a charcoal sketch to map out the composition. Next, I apply layers of acrylic paint to establish the base colors. I then apply multiple layers of compound and mixed media to create deep texture. This is followed by a thorough process of sanding, etching, scraping, mark-making, and sometimes water treatment. Finally, I add additional color elements to enhance the composition and reveal my original intention. I prefer high-profile canvases for dramatic effect.
I number my paintings in series rather than giving them traditional titles. I don’t want a title to guide you toward a particular interpretation; instead, I want my paintings to evoke your own.
When you purchase one of my paintings, it will be carefully prepared for shipping. Each painting is wrapped in glassine paper, protected with bubble wrap and foam corner protectors. Paintings are then secured in a custom box within a box. Please click my blog description for more details.
Every painting is signed and includes an official certificate of authenticity signed by me, Rebecca Landrie.
You will receive a tracking number as soon as your painting ships. I ship paintings through UPS within two days of payment. I pay for 100% shipping insurance on every painting.
Shipping to the continental United States is free.
